How to write an e-book.
Part One - introduction
An eBook is the same as any other book except that the reader gets to choose whether to print the product. For you, the author, the process of creating something worthwhile and informative is the same.
You need to
- know about your subject and your audience and how much they will pay for your information,
- plan out your content so that it is logical, ordered and makes sense,
- have someone else proof read and edit your content,
- design the layout of your book and
- create a file in a format that everyone can read.
Promoting and selling the eBook are the subject of another How To article.
It all sounds fairly easy. But good writing is hard work. There's a lot of dross out there on the internet that sells itself as useful information and you and your book are going to be competing with that.
If you follow these guidelines, you will produce a book that you are proud of, that enhances your reputation as an author and could possibly be the start of the road to riches.
